with Jennifer Turner, Institute for Women's Policy Research;

Jerri A. Husch, UMass Amherst;

and Carolyn Vasques Scalera, American Sociological Association

3:00 - 4:00 PM EST

Graduates face an array of career paths that often seem to diverge into two opposing directions: practice settings or faculty positions. Join us for this interactive proseminar to learn how sociologists can work in both roles simultaneously. Professionals in both practice settings and teaching roles will lead small-group discussions and activities on the translation of skills between fields and learning how to use experience in one to enhance the other.

Free to student members. Available to non-members for a fee. Closed captioning available.
