Sara Goldrick-Rab, #RealCollege Movement

As higher education and society evolve, students face growing financial challenges. To effectively support them, faculty and administrators must understand the obstacles students navigate and what influences their decisions. Sociologist and scholar-activist Sara Goldrick-Rab will share groundbreaking insights from her work on students' struggles with food, housing, childcare, careers, and more. Drawing from her #RealCollege movement, which has influenced federal and state policies, Dr. Goldrick-Rab will offer actionable strategies to help attendees better support students both in and beyond the classroom.
